Santa Ana, Palomar College, Rio Hondo ADN Spring 2014

Has anyone applied for these schools for Spring 2014? I've been looking for recent threads, but haven't found any so I decided to start one :) It's a tough road to RN, so maybe we can all go through this together!

Also, anyone know how Rio Hondo point system works? There's nothing on their website that says how they add up points. Just wondering where I stand.

Ohoh, and I also applied to Pasadena City as well as Cypress College, but there are already threads for those. But we can talk about them here as well :)

I just called Santa Ana college again today, and was told they have finished reviewed the applications, and letters will be mailed out next week, by Friday November 1st. Getting close to the results, I'm getting anxious and impatient .. Haha..

I just called Santa Ana college again today, and was told they have finished reviewed the applications, and letters will be mailed out next week, by Friday November 1st. Getting close to the results, I'm getting anxious and impatient .. Haha..

I read a thread from last year and they got theirs around the end of Oct!

I just received my acceptance letter from Glendale college today. Unfortunately, I have to turn it down because the school is so far away from where I live :( I'm hoping for Santa Ana or Cypress.

omg! Congrats!! That's pretty amazing. Is there no way you can attend at all? I'm sure you'll get into the other schools. I'd be too scared to turn it down.

Yea, just found out I'm pregnant, so there is no way I could make the drive up there from Orange County ( traffic in la is crazy) for school and clinicals. So I'm just gonna stay local.. I hope we will both get in to Santa Ana, fingers crossed..

Congrats!! So many wonderful things going for you :) And you're right, I wouldn't be able to survive the drive from OC to LA. I know you'll get in either Cypress or Santa Ana.

Just received a letter from Santa Ana college today. Unfortunately, I didn't get in :-( I'm being placed as the 3rd alternate. Just wondering if anybody knows the chance of making into the program in Santa Ana as an alternate?

Did anybody get in to the program? Good luck and please share the news....

I received my mail yesterday (Saturday) and I'm in. I was surprised that I actually got into SAC with their new point based system. From what I calculated, I believe I may have had 66 points..

This is the first and only school I have ever applied to..

I have a bach. degree, 4.0 in science and feeling really nervous.. I wish I had volunteer hours... I feel that is what is holding me back
