Hi everyone! I wanted to post here since I didn't see a thread started yet for this year's program. I thought that we could post updates here about those who have applied or are planning to apply. I figured with this year being the first year that they are doing an Early Admission decision, it would be a great time to start a thread so we can support each other as we anxiously await for them to let us know whether or not we made it into the program.

Please feel free to share which one you applied for and any other details you want. I will post mine below. Good luck to everyone and can't wait to find out how things go for everyone as we anxiously await the December 15th day for those of us who applied Early Admission!!

I can start off by saying that I applied for Early Admission to the nursing program. I am hoping to get in and am nervous as to whether my grades are good enough to get in.

Is this college in Greenwood SC?

Nope. The Piedmont College in this post has a main campus in Demorest, GA and another canpus in Athens, GA.

Hi, guys!!! I recently applied to Piedmont's 2017 Summer nursing program (Athens). Do you know when we are supposed to get a call for an interview (if they decide to interview, of course)

Early admission to the school in general or to the nursing program??? I was not aware that there was early admission to the nursing program.

They don't do interviews anymore. They took that out and put the essay in place of the interview.

Hey RebeccaJ! I found out that I was accepted for early admission to the Demorest campus! There are a couple other people in my classes that heard they were accepted as well. :) Congrats on your acceptance!

They just started early admission for this year. The information about it was on their site, but the deadline for that was back in November. They are now waiting for people to apply for the regular admissions deadline.

How did you guys find out about your acceptance? Was it via email, phone or through a letter in the mail? I've had all my stuff turned in since December, but I was not an "early decision" applicant. Patiently waiting...

They also said all final decisions would not be sent until mid-February so for those of you still wondering, hang in there!
