Hi everyone! I wanted to post here since I didn't see a thread started yet for this year's program. I thought that we could post updates here about those who have applied or are planning to apply. I figured with this year being the first year that they are doing an Early Admission decision, it would be a great time to start a thread so we can support each other as we anxiously await for them to let us know whether or not we made it into the program.
Please feel free to share which one you applied for and any other details you want. I will post mine below. Good luck to everyone and can't wait to find out how things go for everyone as we anxiously await the December 15th day for those of us who applied Early Admission!!
I can start off by saying that I applied for Early Admission to the nursing program. I am hoping to get in and am nervous as to whether my grades are good enough to get in.
I got an email (a few days before jan 15) and then an acceptance letter in the mail 2 weeks after! You should find out by the end of Feb. Best of luck :)
I received an email today! They said I was waitlisted, and I would hear about any opening spots by May 1. :/ Here's to getting a spot by then, hopefully.

Congrats!! That is awesome that you found out you got accepted!! Have you heard anything about when they will let you know about everything else other than the deposit? I'm so nervous and ready to find out so I can start slowly getting the books and other things we need.

Hey! I was accepted for early admission for the Athens campus! I received my acceptance email Nov 28th. Let me know when you hear back!
So I originally got accepted at Demorest campus, but because of a few things I had to switch campuses. So now I will be going to classes on the Athens campus too! Are you getting excited that it is getting closer to time to start the summer semester?

That's good :) So far they have not sent anything out by mail about the program. However, they have sent out a couple emails with a bit of information and I get a little bit of information from being on campus too. I have gotten the books for one class, but I am waiting a little bit longer to make sure for the other class before I order it since it is a brand new book. I didn't have to worry about setting up my email or logging in to pilgrimnet since I am a student at Piedmont right now. Oh and I will be on the Athens campus now too! I had to switch due to some stuff going on, but I am excited because it is WAY closer for me to go to Athens anyways.

I received an email saying we have to be there Mon-Fri 8am-5pm the first week and that my day to register for classes is in April (since i am a transfer student). Did you receive any other emails? I'm worried I might not get all the information! Thanks :)

Thanks! I'm glad I was able to switch to be closer too. Although I am kind of nervous since I don't know anyone at the Athens campus since I've been going to classes in Demorest. So the time frame you got for classes is what I got in an email too. I can look at classes for summer and fall term and it seems we may not be there from 8am-5pm, but maybe 9am-4pm. The last email I got says that she will send out more information around a month before classes start.
Don't be nervous about that! It's fun to start fresh, besides you'll have us in the nursing program for friends! I think the first week we will have to go 8am-5pm, but then after that just 9-4.

That is very true! It is fun to make new friends, especially ones who understand what we are about to be going thru. Did you get the email about orientation and all that? They sent out an email this morning.
