Hey anyone out there applying for the LVN to RN bridge for Kaplan?

Hi @NathanBl

I was just wondering, since you got into the ADN program at kaplan, how does the application work?

because i am a 2nd year college student at community college and have finished plenty of courses including stats, speech, english, and many more. Is there a waiting list? and also, I am 19 years old and i am a CNA.

Hello,

There is no waiting list to get in. You will take a simple Wonderlic test which is a timed test with very basic math/algebra questions. You must score very well on this to get into the program. You will then be scheduled to take the KTP entrance exam. This is more difficult but is not hard if you are good in English. Generally you should score above 90 avg on both the math and English portions of the exam to get accepted. This is the main criteria in which students are accepted. If you are already a CNA and score well you have an excellent chance! Your college gen. ed. classes should transfer so you should not have to retake them here.

Good Luck!

I would love to hear back from you on your journey! I am already half way done!!
