Hey anyone out there applying for the LVN to RN bridge for Kaplan?
NathanB What is your nursing experience and what course have you already taken? I am an LVN and I talked to a woman this morning. I got a lot of good information. I want to apply for the January start date. I already have English, math, and speech. I am a Navy wife...she said I should get a discount for that. Are you all in the RN program or the LVN to RN program? I am curious about the actually daily schedule. Of course, we shouldn't work, but I financially I have to, at least a day or 2 a week. I am just looking for some updated information. The largest Kaplan thread is a bit old. THANKS! :)
Hello Junebug. I am a new medical assistant with no nursing experience. I believe there is a 30% discount for veterans but I am not sure about dependents. If you have already completed some college courses that may make your first year a bit easier since you will not need to retake the basic courses. I am not sure yet about the daily schedule but I know your job must be flexible as you cannot and should not miss any clinicals.
Thanks 4GVN!

Please let me know if you hear anything. I'm still waiting and I'm losing hope bc I didn't get accepted in the first deadline.
