Centered-rn, do you have addt'l coursework you will need to do, or do you just have to do core nursing classes? Also, any idea if there are any courses that require a preceptor, as well as have you go somewhere like a community clinic, etc. to complete a project?
Most importantly....are you still liking GCU?
Thx!

Pandorasbox. I looked at the GCU website and my core classes. I don't think there is a clinical or anything of the nature. I'm waiting for my GCU grad friend to get back to me. I sent you a pm, but it looks like a capstone project which is a writing project.
I'm hoping centered still likes it!
I am just doing core nursing classes. No courses require a preceptor that I know of. I am still loving GCU and will move into the MSN/MBA program in Jan 2014.
That is really good to hear! So no "cons" that you can think of?
So far everyone I have talked to has been very helpful.
How long is the MSN/MBA program?

It is three years long
Well good for you! I wish you luck! I'm happy to hear you are thinking ahead. You must be happy or you wouldn't stay with them.
I wish I was as far as you are now. Sigh... I just can't stop thinking about that stats class. I really need to pass that blasted class.

It goes by fast. I can't believe I am 4 classes on with a 4.0 GPA. I will keep u posted on the stats class. Don't worry.
Oh please do! I would love a heads up on how I can study ahead of time and what the expectations are.
It's the only class, minus the capstone project giving me an ulcer, lol.

I live in the area of GCU so I am beefy familiar with the school. My SIL is in their brick and mortar nursing program and I know several people that went there for other degrees. The issue I have is that I am not Christian and it is a faith based school. Have you had any Christian themes in your coursework so far?
Beefy = fairly. Stupid iPhone...
No there is not any Christian based school work.
