  1. Very true post. I am in Charleston SC.. I am an RN currently with 5 years experience. I have gone back to school for RN to BSN with 6 months until I graduate with my BSN. Take heed, be ahead of the wave instead of behind it. Be proactive.
  2. Yes. My own father told me that I would never be a nurse. That I would not make it through nursing school. Well I made it!! Been a nurse for 6 years, House Supervisor for two years and also an ICU nurse. I am working on my BSN and am on the President's List cause my GPA is 4.0. I will be enrolled on a MBA/MSN program in less than a year. So he can eat ish!!! And I make moreover than he ever could.
  3. Have you taken stats yet? How did it go? Any advice? I start stats in two weeks!!!!
  4. How did the interview go?
  5. It is doable! Anything it when u put your mind to it. I am working 55 hrs a week, two jobs one day shift job one night shift job, have four year old son and a husband and I have a 4.0 GPA. I have gotten an A in my first four courses. I had to post 4 out of 7 days for the first two classes. After that, 3 out of 7 days.
  6. No there is not any Christian based school work.
  7. Have you taken stats yet? If so what tips can you give to help pass this class successfully? I am starting stats on Jan 28 at GCU RN-BSN program.
  8. What can you share about statistics? Any tips that enabled you to get an A in this class? How is the class sat up with quizzes and such? I am currently enrolled in GCU RN-BSN program. I am starting the stats class on Jan 28th. I currently have a 4.0 GPA with them. Any help will be appreciated!! You can contact me via PM also.
  9. It goes by fast. I can't believe I am 4 classes on with a 4.0 GPA. I will keep u posted on the stats class. Don't worry.
  10. I am just doing core nursing classes. No courses require a preceptor that I know of. I am still loving GCU and will move into the MSN/MBA program in Jan 2014.
  11. Wow you have a lot of experience. Do you think you may be overqualified?
  12. Ok, so you do already have a little management experience. Good. I would ease into it by filling in if the charge nurse wants to be off, or calls in sick. See how that goes. And despite what the previous poster said, it is always good to take initiative with your career and have a plan. Those that can do- do and those that can do also lead too!
