Hello Everyone! I hope some people will find this! My name is Brooke, and I took my TEAS last week and I passed my first try. WOOP WOOP! Well, I can't apply until Sept. But fingers crossed when I apply, I will get accepted! I am going to be applying for the Daytona campus. I am basically curious if there are many pre nursing students just as excited to meet others! Let me know, and feel free to add me as a friend! Looking forward to talking to you all!

Thanks! Good Luck!!! I can't wait! I was ready to apply in May, but I wanted a little extra time to study for the TEAS. I regret not starting earlier. What is your gpa, and teas scores... I just want an idea if I could get in.. lol

For the TEAS, I scored 81% overall, 90% in math, and 81% in reading.

My GPA was 3.36. The lowest GPA they accepted was 3.19.

Well that just shot my confidence down.. my gpa is 3.13 spring 2014 I got divorced and left my school in VA mid semester it was 1 class that I got a D in, but I also I had no choice but to leave, because of personal reasons, and that plummeted my GPA. :(

Don't be too worried! The semester before me the lowest GPA accepted was a 3.08. Any chance you could take more courses to bump up your chances? Also, it is easier to get in for the spring semester than for the fall!

Don't worry too much. For Daytona state college: Last May application period the lowest they took was a 2.90. Last August the lowest was a 3.04. I just applied may for this August and the lowest they took was a 3.16 and I was not accepted. I just got a call Monday saying was accepted, so never give up or lose faith!! I had a 3.10. People always decline ! So don't stress too much, just do your best and it will all work out! I am so happy to say I am starting in August like I had originally planned. I was devastated when I got my letter but I didn't give up on it because I know this is what I want. And it's totally true, August applications are always lower than May applications. Good luck!
