Hello Everyone! I hope some people will find this! My name is Brooke, and I took my TEAS last week and I passed my first try. WOOP WOOP! Well, I can't apply until Sept. But fingers crossed when I apply, I will get accepted! I am going to be applying for the Daytona campus. I am basically curious if there are many pre nursing students just as excited to meet others! Let me know, and feel free to add me as a friend! Looking forward to talking to you all!

My friend and I were denied :( I am in the middle of finishing my last prerequisite course and, therefore, didn't get accepted. Nevertheless, keeping my chin up for the next aplication period :) Good luck to all of you!

I also got my letter in today!!! I was accepted!!!!!!!!!!!! I am soooooooo happy!!!!!!! Hope to see you all at orientation! Days or Nights at what campus? I am thinking maybe evenings definitely at Daytona.

hi everyone, i also applied for Daytona state, i received a letter in the mail today saying i was not accepted, but im a little confused because it says the lowest GPA they accepted was a 3.07, and i have a 3.08. it also has in all bold text that the applicants accepted completed all the pre and co requisites, and it has that part underlined like i did not complete them, but i did. does anybody have any helpful information? im a emotional wreck!

If you live in the area you may want to take the letter and go speak to the nursing dept. They have always been helpful in the past with questions I have had. If you cannot get there, give them a call. Try to rest tonight. Sorry for the let down, maybe it is just a misunderstanding. Also, there usually seems to be one or two that get denied and then get accepted before class starts. Sounds like you are still in the running!

My name is George and I got my acceptance yesterday! My GPA was a 3.50 with all pre-reqs and co-reqs done before applying. Currently working on pre-reqs for my BSN in the future. My overall TEAS score was a 79%. See you guys at orientation next month!

Does anyone know what the first semester schedule is going to look like or where I can find a copy of the previous semester's schedule?

I was reading that you will sign up for classes during your orientation.. I might be wrong though. I would suggest to talk to your advisor just to be on a safe side :)

I am a student finishing up my first semester at the Palm Coast/Flagler campus. My schedule is as follows:

Tuesdays: Nursing Process I lecture 9-12

Foundations of Nursing lecture 12:30-3:20

Wednesdays: Lab Day 8-11:50

Thursdays: Clinical 7-3:20

You are correct. For first semester you can start registration after orientation. For other semesters, you have to sign up yourself when registration opens.
