CSUEB vs. Sac State vs. CSULA

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello,

I realize some of this information has been covered already in previous years, however I need some fresh information if it's available. I have applied to all three and believe my stats are probably going to earn me acceptance to all of them. I want to know everyones perspective, previous students, future students. Pros and Cons, whatever you got under your belt that will help me make a good decision on where to complete my prelicensure - BSN program. Thanks to all the people on here, I've found a lot of great info on here already.

Assuming the NCLEX pass rates are comparable, and assuming the cost and length of the programs is similar, it comes down to where do you want to live and probably work as an RN? I'm a Norcal girl and if I had to live in LA, well, that would be a dealbreaker for me. But some people love LA, so there you go. I'm having a good experience at CSUEB, though there's room for improvement. I suspect this might be true at most nursing schools however. My classmates are great, the professors care about us a lot and I think we will be as prepared to be RNs at the end of it as anybody. No regrets thus far.

Thanks for your input

MyAimIsTrue, Can I contact you to find out a bit more about your nursing program? I can't figure out how to message, but someone said I need to pay for a premium membership
