    Thanks woodsyny. I imagine it may be because they are level 1 classes. If I would have known this then I would have taken the other chemistry class instead of the intro.

    I wonder if Clovis does virtual or actual lab with labpaq. I would love to take the Oregon State chemistry with virtual lab but it is expensive.

    Not sure about the lab, it just says it has a lab. I bet it's the labpaq.

    I didn't like taking chemistry where you have to go to labs at the college. Everyone was always in a big hurry to leave and I rather take my time. I don't learn if I am rushed.

    I took microbiology at edukan with 'virtual lab'. it was pretty cool, you didn't have to buy a microscope and it took a little time to get use to but once you did it was better than being in the classroom. Intense 8 weeks but got a B in the course which I was more than happy with!

    How does one take Chem with an online lab? And, do major universities accept these credits? I REALLY hate the lab I am enrolled in now at the tech college, but it seems impossible/illogical to expect that I could get the same credit without suffering through an in-person lab. Please advise. Thank you!

    The virtual lab I took with edukan for microbiology was just like being in a REAL lab. You didn't do the steps right,things got contaminated and you had to start over. And 'yes' they are accepted by universities. They were cool and better than having to buy a microscope.

    i am taking chem at Phoenix. i just want to move along. i have not decided on where to do micro. these will be my last 2 classes....going out with a real bang!

    I've taken micro and chemistry online. It involved a lab kit from labpaq. The labpaq has everything you need to do the experiments. You are also given a lab manual on CD. I would just have to type up my labs assignments (answer questions) just like any other online class. OU accepted both of my classes no problem.
