NRSE 414 Cultural Diversity

I'm still waiting for my friend to finish the assessment questions. Most of the questions, I know just from knowing him, but there were some I wasn't sure to answer. I sent him a gentle reminder to do his homework so I can finish mine!

I did just take the final quiz...got a 93.33, would have gotten a 100% had I not changed an answer...goes to show, always trust your first instinct!

Hopefully can start and finish my paper tomorrow and get it submitted Friday.

You are so right about changing answers.. last quiz 2 that I got wrong were ones I had changed answers for.

Ended up with 7 pages which includes title page and references. Only had two references. The book and a journal article.
Two more nursing classes DONE! Four to go!

I had 7 pages too. Congrats on being so close, but man, I am so jealous. you really are in the final stretch. And I have such a long way to go.

Luckily, I'm not the only one in my section who used a resource other than a nursing journal. I just can't be worried about it....too late anyway!!! I did mention teaching practices for this population....hope it works.....

You didn't cite the Census Bureau?? Where did you get your data from for that section?

Nope did not cite Census Bureau. Probably should have. My person is Asian.

Seemed pretty straightforward. Then again...maybe it isn't. I am just done. Have a 98.8% going into week 5.

I just finished my cultural assessment paper and now I understand the complaints about keeping the paper 5 pages long. When finished I discovered that I had 9 pages (including title and ref. page). I was able to edit it down to a total of 8 pages and I'm going with that. I just cannot delete anything else. I did find this paper more interesting than other ones and was able to learn a decent amount about my client.

Now, on to the DB post, which I am really HATING! Like others, I've spent way more time than I like just trying to find a journal article that works with this DB post. Onward....

I still have to do the DB post as well. Have company this week and trying to find a free moment. Always grateful to have another nursing class done. Week 5 woo hoo.

I just finished the quiz and missed two questions. I reveiwed the previous quizzes and this weeks readings/lecture to prepare for the test. It wasn't so bad. Glad it's done. Now I have to finish this DB posting sometime between now and tomorrow night, ugh!!

Done! Finished!! Woohoo! Summer break you are much needed! Anyway, my paper ended up being 8 pages, including title and references. Glad it over. I'll be back in the Fall, taking 4560, then 4540, then 4520. Good luck to you all!
