Who is joining me?? Thought I might as well get the thread up and running early!

SIX PAGES of instructions for this freakin' teaching plan? How do they expect us to read all of these chapters (yeah, NOT gonna happen), write this assignment, write two discussion posts (AKA mini-papers), respond to four discussion posts (WITH references), and take a quiz in one week?! SERIOUSLY??? Um, this IS designed for working RNs, right?..........right? :mad:

this was mentioned on my QA board. The answer was....."bachelor programs are rigorous"....I think it feels like a 5 credit course! Haven't started that darn project yet.

That is a nice response.... I find these assignments ridiculous. Someone mentioned that there really was not a point in the second discussion board and I totally agree. I will not even have my stupid project done by the time this DB is due. My whole section has reported exclusively on hand washing lol I might do that to. This weeks quiz had an answer I am going to challenge because the answer I picked is almost stated word for word and it was still wrong. Bull**** quizzes grrrr

I printed out the assignment instructions and there are too many little points to make. I don't even know what the heck they want! As far as the quiz goes.....no study guide after all......I'm just gonna wing it. I can't read all that stuff!!

I got hit with 2 full points in week 2 assignment because my rewritten PEM was below a 5th grade level....not EXACTLY at 5th. Seriously???????

Oh great!! Mine was at 7th grade level but only because I used the word medicine so many times. Without that it would have been fifth-grade level as well. I did state that in my paper and even made a reference as to why "drug" would be more confusing that medicine but I am scared as to how my grade will be.... I have nothing graded thus far...I feel if the instructors lost power and whatnot why did we have to be on time with our deadline????

My section didn't have to be on time - there was a note up on EPIC to get things turned in as your power came back on. All my grades are back - did well this week. My PEM was exactly at 5th grade level.

Look over your answers. I'm challenging a question about the definition of illiteracy. Two of the answers are correct IMO. I'll let you know what happens.
