    When I was a new nurse, we would give a medication called Deladumone to suppress lactation.
    I explained the medication to the new mother, and do you know how she responded?
    "Deladumone, I like that name. Yep, thats what I'm going to name her".

    Yes, one of the many reasons I love being a nurse ! Every day is unique !

    Some of us were discussing Roy Orbison on another website, and I looked him up to find out when he died. (1988 - had no idea it had been that long.)

    His father's name was Orbie Orbison.

    Considering that the old fashioned names are coming back for girls, that might not seem so weird.

    When I was taking organic chemistry, I saw a story in a magazine somewhere about a woman named Methylene. This was around the time that I saw a reference to the movie "Psycho" and read that word as P-S-Y and an aldehyde group.
