Sorry had to share that with everyone. Nothing like getting the sweat pumps running and your heart racing.
With the father of the baby over my shoulder shouting, UM, WHERES THE DOCTOR! hehe.
Andrew, " Sorry sir, please take a deep breathe with me, because I need one to!
We dont have time for a doctor and whoho heres a head. Would you like to cut the cord new dad?"
Okay, off my little box.
Sorry, this doesnt happen very often in a military hospital, well because military doctors are usually always in house so it was great!
Take care all.

the greatest delivery ever for me was when i delivered our babies. I plan on delivering your next one also! it is something i will never forget.
i also got the honor recently to have one of my coworkers ask me to be her nurse and deliver her baby when she is here. of course i agreed her doc thinks it is great. she has seen me deliver a few babies and said she really thinks i do a great job. she really likes my track record so far i have never had a pt i delivered need one stich. of course she hopes my trend is still going in 2 months when she delivers.
