by Silverdragon102 Admin Aug 19, '06Trying hard to work out a timeline so I can work out a realistic time for selling our house (don't want to sell too early as have 3 dogs and trouble finding renting willing to take dogs) plus giving notice at work as I have to give 3 months.
I know will only be approx but if RN's from the UK who have already arrived in the US put down their timescale plus the ones already in the process still in the UK would be a big help and may also help those beginning their process

Good one by me hey - Aug 19, '06 by RGN1[quote=Silverdragon102]Trying hard to work out a timeline so I can work out a realistic time for selling our house (don't want to sell too early as have 3 dogs and trouble finding renting willing to take dogs) plus giving notice at work as I have to give 3 months.
My agency said that in a nutshell it takes about 12 months from passing N-CLEX to getting out to the USA. If you do check out the "shortage" thread (which I giggled at when I saw it) you'll see that's about right as long as there have been no unusual complications.
It's what I'm working on! -

looked at that thread a lot but was trying to make it a bit easier for people to look at by just posting their time frame. without being cluttered with other info. - Aug 19, '06 by Silverdragon102:angryfire [QUOTE=RGN1]Quote from Silverdragon102Trying hard to work out a timeline so I can work out a realistic time for selling our house (don't want to sell too early as have 3 dogs and trouble finding renting willing to take dogs) plus giving notice at work as I have to give 3 months.

this the case I should have been out there beginning of last year I passed NCLEX march 04 and initially didn't get approval until april 05 but hospital backed out april 05:angryfireLast edit by Silverdragon102 on Aug 19, '06 - Aug 19, '06 by madwife2002Mine is getting old now and all change quickley so the newer ones who are currently going through the process will be the best ones-plus they are so much more informed than I was with the immigration process.
