Teaching plan ideas?

Nursing Students Student Assist

Published

I am usually not the type of person that will ask for help, but I am slowly learning that as becoming an RN, sometimes we need to ask for help. I am looking for some assistance in choosing a topic for a teaching plan. I am not looking for anyone to do my homework for my, however, I am just having trouble coming up with an idea. I have thought about some of the more common teaching plans such as HTN, DM, obesity, and smoking but I don't want to do these because I feel that everyone else will be doing these. I want mine to be unique and different. A little about my teaching plan, it has to be at least 5 pages in length including nursing dx, goals and interventions. Again...I am not looking for someone to do it for me, just topic ideas!! Thanks in advance...

You have had some interesting patients! Great ideas!

Something you're interested in blabbering on about.

See above list(s)

Your faculty will be thrilled if you also incorporate a few nursing diagnoses commonly associated with those medical diagnoses (depending on nursing assessments, but you can say these are common because of ....) and use those in your teaching plan.
