I am also wondering about this. I am studying for my CCRN and some of the older study material includes them (Pass CCRN!) I don't use PA catheters on my unit so I don't have any actual experience with them. I am struggling with the concepts and trying to remember the normal values. Does anyone know if there are generally any questions regarding PA catheters on the current CCRN tests? if so, does anyone have any tips to remember?

Anyone in the AG-ACNP program that received a letter know the dates for orientation? I don't expect my letter till Thursday or Friday but I need to let my manager know for scheduling purposes. If anyone knows the dates for that program I would appreciate it. Thanks

I just checked again, and I was able to create a BlazerID through the blazernet central. I now have both a BlazerID and BannerID! No need to check the mail! :)

Hey guys, it looks like I'm in as well. Which is good, because this is my first time applying and the only school I applied too. AGAC-NP first and only choice. 5 holds on my account. Awaiting the golden envelope that is in the mail to be sure. i am still unable to create a "BlazerID" however have access to blazernet through my "bannerID". Does anyone know the difference?

I am also anxiously awaiting decisions. I agree it is somewhat frustrating, especially trying to plan work schedules. However, their website in the program information said that decisions would be within 60 days of the deadline. If we are not counting just calendar days and not busniess days that means that decisions should be made April 24th. As for me, I'm going to sit back. Relax. And anxiously await the next 2 weeks!

I have 5 years total experience, with the last two being in a medical/surgical/cardio ICU. I've worked everything including med/surge, ED, and I've traveled a for a year. GPA comes in close to 3.6. I have taken the GRE, so I submitted it anyway, even though it wasn't the best. I almost wish I hadn't.

I also applied to the AG-ACNP track, no secondary option for me. I'm not sure if it will come back to haunt me. I just looked at my application essay for errors in my APA formatting. Everything looks good from as far as I can tell. Fingers crossed!

Congrats!! Not to steal the thread but I finished my exam today at 2 so 48 hours isn't till Saturday. Will I be able to know on Saturday or will I have to wait until Monday since Saturday isn't "business hours"! I got the good pop up 2 but am skeptical of it lol Thanks!

For those of you that have taken the NCLEX-RN what kind of medication questions did you have? I hate the common side effect ones. Any advice?

I need a little refresher on RhoGAM administration. I know that it needs to e administered at 28 weeks and then again within 72 hours of birth. But I cannot remember about the Rh factor of the father and Rh factor of the mother? What about the Coombs test? Does it need to be positive or negative? Thanks in advance!

I am taking the Virtual ATI NCLEX class. I have found it very hard to study. The ATI test book shows up in a PDF file and has at least 600 pages each to review for the 7 categories. I do not have time to review all 600 pages for 7 different categories. Has anyone taken this class? How did you study? Any help would be appreciated because as of now I feel like I've wasted my money. :S

I am usually not the type of person that will ask for help, but I am slowly learning that as becoming an RN, sometimes we need to ask for help. I am looking for some assistance in choosing a topic for a teaching plan. I am not looking for anyone to do my homework for my, however, I am just having trouble coming up with an idea. I have thought about some of the more common teaching plans such as HTN, DM, obesity, and smoking but I don't want to do these because I feel that everyone else will be doing these. I want mine to be unique and different. A little about my teaching plan, it has to be at least 5 pages in length including nursing dx, goals and interventions. Again...I am not looking for someone to do it for me, just topic ideas!! Thanks in advance...
