We have knocked out, paralyzed, assaulted, battered and frozen a functional human being.

Are they breathing, moving, return of protective reflexes, return of consciousness, reversal of hypothermia, control of pain and nausea etc?

I like to tell the same joke to all my patients all day long. They can't remember the punchline anyway. Never gets old. Sometimes I use funny accents on people before I give them their hearing aides back.
