Has anyone found of used flash cards through nursing school? I'm currently in OB/Ped's but am looking for ideas for different flash cards that helped with any and all of nursing school. Do you make your own Or buy some somewhere? Also flash cards for normal labs, what they mean, pharm flash cards that helped? I'm just looking for different ideas. Thanks

I make my own on my iPad/iPhone for grad school. The app is flashcardlet. I like it because I can keep all of the cards with me without carrying around a million index cards. They also provide a database where other people have uploaded their cards they made for different subjects.

I am currently using RNoets: Nurse's Clinical Pocket Guide. it has lots of different helpful info for you to use during your clinical. Its handy pocket size and waterproof pages are great for students on the go, while NCLEX tips, highlighted throughout, make it perfect for those preparing for the licensure exam.

i was trying to use my iphone to create flashcards but my school does not allow us to use smartphone during the clinical so it was kind of pointless for me X_X but i really think that iphone is a really helpful tool for you to put in all the helpful info with you.

I hope this is helpful :)

Quizlet is a great online resource. You can look up flashcards made by others and make your own.

Wow! Esme12, you are awesome! I will definitely benefit from these flashcards.

I will have to look in to the clinical pocket guide, I have a smart phone, but we are not allowed to have phones with us while at clinicals, it is grounds for dismissal.

These will be so helpful for medications, Thank you so much. I will have to look at quizlet, I emailed my instructor to ask for ideas and she brought up that as well. I just wondered if anyone had used them and found certain sets better than others. Thank you for all the help.
