Passed My NCLEX
I sat for my NCLEX, last sat, and when the computer shut off at 75, I was so nervous that I was not going to pass. I tried the PVT and got the good pop, but I still needed the actually black and white results in order to believe it. My state participates in the quick results with pearson vue, so I paid for them yesterday, after waiting 49 hours and checking the website every hour, and I saw that I passed!!! Praise the lord. I am so excited to have finally made it to be an RN, now it is time to start looking for a job, the hospitals in my area will not hire GN. Thank you everyone who has helped out on here, and answered questions etc.

If I took the test sat, will the quick results be available Mon? The information Pearson vue sends out says 48 business days or something to that effect. I just do not want to wait till Wed!- How I Survived Nursing School! 15 Tips that could help you!

I used Kaplan to study. It is an online program or live review that costs about as much as the Hurst review. I did the live review, and the instructor walks you through how to break apart and answer the questions from each section. I really felt that it helped me out. The class gave me the tools I needed to break the questions apart and answer them critically. I also have been told that if you buy the kaplan strategies book, you can gain access to a modified version of what kaplan offers. There are a few trainers and what not to practice with if you choose that option. I also used the Saunders book to clarify any content that I needed to brush up on, and practice alternate format questions. My advice to you is to practice a lot of questions, but review all of the rationales to the questions.- praise God

I couldn't sleep either. I have melatonin that I take on occasions when I can't sleep, I never wake up groggy after taking it. I know many people who take zzquil but it has benadryl so be careful, because you do not want to wake up with a benadryl hang over. Try reading a book, taking a nice long hot bath. Find that thing that relaxes you and helps to shut off the mind. I wish you the best of luck. Keep everyone posted on how you do. - NCLEX today
