Dysrhythmia help

I tried a search and came up with nothing for dysrhythmia/EKG/ECG. Does anyone have any links or book recommendations? I'm trying to make sense out all this stuff, and lecture and the few strips in my med-surg and NCLEX books just are not cutting it. I found a link in the sticky to this:

which is great (it covers our current topics perfectly) but the documents are long and maybe not as basic as I'm looking for. It's even harder that each dysrhythmia can have so many different forms (e.g. A fib). Or maybe it will become easier once I memorize some of them and will no better what I'm looking at? Thanks.

the ekg weblinks on allnurses are posted on this thread: https://allnurses.com/forums/f15/helpful-information-unit-140706.html. my personal favorite is this link: http://www.12leadecg.com/intro/. it is an online textbook that you can access by chapter of the book. it has flashcards and gives you specific information about each different arrhythmia.

I found this site really helpful, more for recognizing rhythms then getting to the bare understanding of them, but try it out and see.

Airforce - that site looks awesome but when I load it, it's super tiny, I can't read any of the words (except for 'The Six Second ECG' on the top), I can see a tiny waveform moving by. The whole web page is squished into the top third of my screen. Does this happen for anyone else? Maybe a Mac thing? Please help, this looks like it is exactly what I am looking for. I can't read a thing. :( Is there a contact listed on the website that someone else can see so I can email them about why I can't see it? Thanks!!

ETA: I found the homepage and emailed them, hopefully I can find a way to see it!

Daytonite - that site is too hard for me. ;) I'm looking for the bare basics, like SR, ST, Afib, flutter, Vtach, etc. Any other favorites for the more simple rhythms?

There is a line of "Made Easy" books that are great. I think the one I used was "EKG interpretation Made Easy" it simplified it all and was easy to understand. If you work in a hosital someone might have one available. I know we have one in ICU and in the ED.

did you go into the http://www.12leadecg.com/intro/? it's about as basic as you can get. also, the cyberheart site: http://www.gwc.maricopa.edu/class/bio202/cyberheart/cardio.htm both of these should have been posted on that list of links.

Yes, I looked at those links. The first one Daytonite listed, I went through all the practice ECGs and they were mostly about MI and not showing specific rhythms that I'm looking for. Sadly I have to study for a test and not just to learn, I just am too short on time. I'm at a loss, I have to just stop waffling and get off the computer and just memorize the lecture notes I have. I've emailed my instructors to see if they have better handouts, I was told there was a great one last year so I'm hoping someone can dig that up. Thanks for your help.

I figured out the problem with

http://www.skillstat.com/Flash/ECG_Sim_2004.html, in case anyone else runs across it themselves. It was a browser problem. It works with Explorer (PC) and Safari (Mac).

Airforce - it was wonderful!!!! I spent much time using it yesterday and I am finally getting somewhere, thank goodness. It was just what I needed to begin understanding what they look like, now I can start studying the whys and treatments since I have a picture to think of. I forwarded the link to some classmates.
