Scrubs for Short People!

Ok, I need to get a few sets of scrubs but I can't find anything that fits me. I'm 4'9" and 110lbs. NOTHING fits me. I do have hips and everything thats lenght wise is made for a stick person and if it fits hips wise it is made for a normal height person:lol2: . At least I can laugh at the fact that I'm really short! Anyway, Anyone have any ideas other then heming everything I buy? (Not to handy with the sewing machine);)

Ok...I have found that Grey's Anatomy has a new junior fit in their petite line...they are hard to find, but I have been to a store that carries them, and they are great.

You'll still have to get them hemmed, but they are NOT low-rise (which for me, is great...I have a very long torso and can't wear anything low-rise b/c they don't sit on my hips, they show half-my butt).

They have a drawstring front BUT they have an elastic back...so you don't have to do the frequent readjusting.

I also found out that Katherine Heigl has a "short" length that fits very well.

Now, these aren't short enough for me...I still have to get them hemmed, however, only by an inch or so.

I'm 5'2, I weigh 115, and I have a 26" inseam.

I am so glad this topic is on here. I;m running into the same problem with getting scrubs for school. No one here carries petite pants. The regular pants wind up with about 6 inches dragging on the ground. I'm 5'2, 5'2.5 if my feet are real swollen lol, and 150 but that number has been coming down. I'm short, I know this but like someone else said the manufacturers don't seem to realize this. I don't mind having to hem my pants but if I can avoid it I would be much happier.

I'm 4' 11"1/2 and 115 lbs. I had dickies flare pants in petite length size xs and they ended up being too short, so I went to reg. length. If you're 4' 9', I bet the petite length would be just right.

:chuckle I am 4'11-1/4" and the dickies are the perfect length for me. I think I have short stubby little legs
