Scrub tops for petite with larger chest?

Alright, I'm about 5'2" and wear an XS-S petite scrub bottom (depending on brand) and they seem to fit me very well.

On the other hand! Scrub tops have been a nightmare!! I can't find any that fit me around the chest without making me look like I'm wearing a trash bag or swimming in it below the chest area!

Has anyone found any tops that have some extra room in the top but still allow to fit well on the bottom half? My chest isn't abnormally huge or anything but they can't fit in 90% of the tops that I have tried on!! Either I can't get them on, or I'm swimming.

I'm thinking I may need to just get them altered if I want more styles to choose from.

Any advice or brand suggestions are welcomed :)

Cherokee Flexibles!

I will have to find these and try them out! Dickys actually ended up fitting fairly well, and I can get in and out of it on my own (haha!!) BUT - they aren't super feminine or anything. That doesn't bother me but I would like some options too!

I felt absolutely terrible when I was trying tops on. I had tons and tons of sizes and styles. Poor chicks at the store having to put all of them away after I left :-/

That's the only good thing about my school scrubs... I don't really have a choice - I get what they sell flattering or not!

I hear ya!!! I'm 5'1" and have a double dd to triple ddd chest. Finding tops to fit me is a nightmare. I'm a medium petite pant and usually have to get an extra large top which is still too big around the waist. I had to wear scrubs for my labs the last two semesters and I got the antidote brand scrubs. We could wear whatever color we wanted for labs. I liked them because they came in petite sizes for the bottoms. The tops were still a little big in the waist but it gave my chest enough room to move around in. It also wasn't too tight around the back which is what I find sometimes. People just do not understand the struggle!! Lol. I can't even remember the last time I wore a button down shirt or wore a vneck top that looked appropriate. Or a man that looked me in the eyes. Antidote is a fairly new brand. I got mine at Scrubs and Beyond. The navy blue and gray looked best on me.

Oh jeez... Don't get me started on V necks.

I love them cause they are pretty conservative (I'm a mother) compared to other tops and such they sell for younger ladies (but only 28 :) ) but it's still like I'm showing everything! Jeez..

I like the Greys anatomy tops that have the double button in the back. I was even able to wear them when my big boobs (36 dd) grew to size obnoxious (38f) after I had my baby.

The wonder wink are my second favorite but only because they are inexpensive and the material isn't scratchy like other budget scrubs.

Tried both of those brands :-/ unfortunately didn't work out. Couldn't get them on or off on my own, unless I wanted to wear a blanket or parachute around the hospital.

That's a major bummer. Do you own a sewing machine or know someone that does? You could always tailor tops by adding buttons or darts to create the more form fitted look. I have to alter all my pants Bc I am too tall for petites and way too short for regular pants and can't stand dragging pants (esp on an icky hospital floor).

R u sure you unbuttoned the grays anatomy? The buttons that adjust the waist are well made so you don't see them but they allow for expansion of the under breast/waist area. I wear a 36 DDD and while they are hard to get into, like I get deodorant on them, once they're on they're almost custom fit.

Yea :-/ being a size small or xs scrub too with a later chest and trap area, it sucks! If med didn't fit so big it wouldn't be an issue!

KOI & Rampage seem to fit without looking like clubwear or trashbags.
