    I also got a Littmann classic ll SE but I got mine from my college bookstore. I tried mine out as soon as I got home and I can hear through it really well.

    I got an email today it was shipped I am excited it took a little long because I had my name engraved on it to theft proof it lol but it's coming from allheart and they kept their word to me. Every experience is different I guess. All smiles over here *yelclap*

    So I figured out that it is not allheart.com with the long shipping, it is FedEx. They ship via FedEx smart post which means it starts with FedEx and it ends with the post office delivering it. So it adds a few more days once it is shipped. Mine shipped on the 9th which was only 3 days after I placed my order and I had it engraved, still as of today I haven't received it. I'm hoping it comes in the mail tomorrow. I was never a fan of FedEx, things are always delayed with them.

    I bought my stethoscope via all heart and it also ended with USPS, although my shipping was very reasonable (even with engraving). I was only aggravated that they left my stethoscope outside my door because I wasn't home, thank god it was there when I got home!

    Good luck to all of you in your nursing career. Your stethoscope is a very personal item. My stethoscope and I have been together 15yrs and many, many patients together. I dont go a day without out it!!! Enjoy being a nurse.

    I keep checking everyday, I'm starting to get a little obsessed with it, because I don't want it left on my doorstep either.

    Thank you! I'm so excited and nervous at the same time, I'm 37 and it's scary to "start over" like this! Words of encouragement are very helpful.

    Well I just tracked the scope to find it was shipped yesterday from allheart but FedEx will not deliver it until 8/23/12 SMH I ordered it on the 13th and that might be because it has to go through USPS. I just will be glad when I receive it. Thanks guys and good luck as a student.

    Kconnor126 I am 37 also and we can do this I am also nervous and excited I feel I forgot how to study and concentrate but I plan to give it 110% and pray to get 100% out of it. We got this keep me posted on your journey and I will do the same.

    Thank you for your kind words of encouragement! It keeps me going! Someone on all nurses reminded me of a quote by Winnie the Pooh - "Your braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think". I hung it on my refrigerator and look at it everyday! I will definitely keep you posted and please do the same! It is so great to find support!
