I see a bit of talk on the forums about cover letters. I'm writing a nursing school resume, not a job resume. Do I need a cover letter?

it will depend. The cover letters are a formal narrative way to express your most valuable assets in relation to the position you are appling to., it doesn't matter if it's for employment or school. I will tell you something....

Let's say 100 people want to get in the school, but there's only 1 spot. Do you think they are only going to consider the one that has only a resume and his essay, or the other one that gas a good essay. Good resume. Letters of recommendation. Cover letter and gpa.
