Hello, is anyone going to the orientation on the 28th? I just got my acceptance letter in the mail today so the orientation caught me a little off guard. Talk about last minute. LOL
I arrived on Monday, and i went to the school to drop off some paper work at the Financial Aid office and the school was closed, I tried tuesday and again closed!!....so i asked the security guy he said they open Wednesday 28th at 8:00am. Oh, and i will be attending the orientation does anyone one know where it will be held??

The letter I received says the orientation is on the 28th at 10 but who really knows. My flight was cancelled last night so I am coming today as well. Does anyone know how to get to the school from the airport? Hmm?

If anyone will be on campus tomorrow, and would like to meet, I expect I'll be camped out in admissions most of the day (blue & white gym shorts, blue& white t-shirt, plus most likely the only white guy there). Is there a room location for the Orientation tomorrow (or the next day)?

I agree taxi is the best bet for arriving at the right place without wasting a few hours (ps buses only take coins, no dollar bills, there is also only bus serving campus, C31 which only runs once per hour and you can hop it at the Rio Pedras bus station)). The address to give the taxi driver for campus is where PR-177 crosses San Francisco Avenida in Cupey (area within San Juan), I wasn't able to find a numbered street address (look for yellow clock tower to find campus).

FYI the campus is located in the triangle formed by PR-1, PR-177, PR-52.

PS- I had a heck of a time finding a map of bus routes, here is the only online one I could find:

Here is a satellite image of the University from Google Maps, the large building across the street (the unnamed street is Francisco Avenue, connecting PR-177 and Pr-1) from the parking garage.

That bus map is super confusing!!....ill be at school tomorrow morning i have to drop off some paper work at Financial Aid and check in with admissions to make sure they have my student status correct this time, then go over to the nursing dept. and register for my classes. Tomorrow is going to be a long day (ugh)....i don't know where the orientation will be.

Ok, for those who missed the Orienation Today the basically went over all he papers that are need and the Associate Dean signed the "Manila folders" we all have in he nursing dept. that was pretty much it. The also talked abou what is expected from everyone.
By the way they only had this orientation b/c so many ppl were admitted after June. Normally they only have one in which is the one in June.
