I live in PA, too. What side of the state are you on? CCAC in Pittsburgh has some of the nursing classes online. However, clinicals are still done in person. However, many of our community colleges now have prerequisite courses online as well, including A&P and Microbiology. If you are on the Western PA side, I might be able to help you.

Good luck.

I am not in PA, but I dont thing there are any LPNs program onlines. Majority of the online programs, you have to already be an LPN. I have seen LPN-TO-RN. Good Luck

Hi..Thanks for responding. I'm going to take the net test exam in Feb.If I pass, there is a school in center city Philadelphia that I can take without any prerequisites. Its part time...18 months. I would love to find a school where I can take the net test and lpn program on line!

Good Luck to you

I know that Deaconess College of Nursing in Missouri has an LPN component to their program, you take the first three semesters and then are eligible for the NCLEX-PN.. There are a few people on the board who are currently attending DCN and there are some that have graduated from it... Search the forums for Deaconess.. It's an entirely distance learning college, you have to set up your own clinicals, and it's expensive, but if DL is the only way you can go, this may be your only route!

Hope that helps!

If you are wanting to become an LPN I don't think there are any on-line programs for that. You really need to attend a class and especially get clinical experience as you go. Brick and mortar LPN schools will give you this valuable experience.

If you are already an LPN there are on line courses that will help you to study to become an RN. There are LPN to ADN and LPN to BSN courses available. Most community colleges allow you to take some of your courses on line provided there are no labs.

Good luck!! ;)

There are some programs out there, but make sure that it is accpeted by your BON for licensure. Most of them for the LPN are not accepted, especially if they are strictly on-line.

Do your homework first.
