what is the best rn to bsn online school? also, which ones do not require clinicals? i am a disabled nurse and cannot do clinicals. i was going to a non-online rn to bsn program but had to quit because i had back surgery. are there any programs that you do not recommend? i don't have many credits left to go (i got most of the base curriculum out of the way i.e. english, math, etc).

:typing :nurse:

thanks!

I went through Indiana State University RN-BSN program. It's top notch. Now I teach there. It's good, quick and cheap. Professors are top notch and are not drama oriented.

I just graduated from the LPN-BSN program at Indiana State and I second Tammy. I went to commencement and pinning last weekend as well as a dinner at the home of one of my professors. I met several of my professors and they are just as great in person as they are online. They were involved and genuinely interested in our success. I'm really going to miss having classes with them.

Totally off topic, but CONGRATS!!!! I was wondering when you'd be done!! :) Yay!

Tammy FNP/GNP,

I researched ISU and it seems that 35 credits are required for the core nursing courses but that credit can be given for up to 10 credits via a portfolio option. I'm an RN and have a B.S.-Biology so I would only need these core courses to obtain my BSN. It appears that I would only need 26 credits for my BSN?!

I would be an out-of-state student but it seems ISU charges in state tuition plus $30/course distance fee for online students?

I'm planning out my BSN, searching online programs that are within my budget is not easy...any info. is greatly appreciated! :)
