marks of practice exam

  1. How much should one get in your practice exam at least to pass the real exam? I just did the con1-2 form A, only got 42% and 53%. I don't know if I analyze the questions again and read the keypoints again from the textbook, I can get improvment in form B.

How simialr is it with the real exam? What's your results in the practice exam? Can anyone share your experience?

Excelsior will tell you you should get 80% or more on the practice exams before you're ready for the real thing. Persoanlly the highest I ever got on either form A or form B was 79% and the lowest I think was 59% and I got A's and two B's. So...

There's a viewer that lets you compare how you did on the practice exam compared to others who have taken it. It lists the mean % along with yours. Even though my scores seemed pretty low, I was in the 89% percentile or thereabouts. I don't know what that means or translates but I always did better on the real exam than the practice. You will only know when you study and then take the second form B of the practice exam and then see what you get on the real one. Good luck!

If I were you, I would not rush to schedule the exams. Take your time and make sure you prepare adequately. My scores on the real exam were always better than the practice exam, but I would not feel comfortable yet with the scores that you are describing.

2 weeks ago I took NC1 where I scored a 77%. Practice test A I also got a 77%, practice test B, 82%. So, they are pretty accurate to what you will do on the real thing.
