  1. Thanks a lot, dear friends. i finally figure it out. It is due to my late payment of the annully service fee. But I didn't get any call from EC to remind me about it. I stoped there because I changed my job and address. Now I payed the $440 and can continue with my last nc, meanwhile I am asking them to cancel the reactivation fee. i think they should contact with me since I stopped for such a long time.
  2. when i log into ec, i was told i need to reapply for ec associate nursing because i passed 6 month. but i am an enrolled students and have taken so many exams. "our records indicate that it has been more than six months since you applied and were admitted into the nursing program. admission is only valid for six months. you will need to reapply by submitting the undergraduate application for admission."
  3. I enrolled into EC around end of oct in 2006, and took NC1-6 continuously from Oct to Mar,2007. Because some of interuptions, I stoped there until now I get time to go for the last one NC7. But I couldn't see the free study guide for NC7 now. Since it is during holidays, I can not contact with EC.Does anyone know is it due to the second year enrollment fee ( $400 as I remembered)? If I pay now, can I take the last exam again? Very worried. Do appreciate any suggestions and experience.
  4. I am going to take College writing soon.Did you take yours? How is it?
  5. I am studing NC-5 now, and plan to finsh all NCs soon. But I still need to get 3 credits in Englsih composition. Can anyone tell me is there an easy way to fill the requiement of EC in English composition except taking EC's Englsih composition? I found it too hard for me.3 hours' writing!!! Thanks. Any suggestions are welcomed.
  6. Hi, I lived in NYC ,just starting NC.Finished NC2.If you like, we can contact eachother.
  7. But why I can find con 4,5... not 3 before enrollment? Can I take con4 now? I think I don't need to do one by one. Right?
  8. Does anyone know where can I download con3's study guide? I only can find con4,5...., but con 3 has no link to its study guide in excelsior. so strange.
  9. I purchased the practice exam and read most of the chapters. But I didn't read according to the outlines of the free study guide which I thought was a weakpoint.Because after the exam, when i looked the outline again carfully, I found a lot of questions are just related to the examples. By the way, what is the study material from Ebay about? Is it like the documents published in the yahoo group?
  10. Thanks for all the words above. I didn't buy any review books but I borrowed textbooks. I will try to borrow some NCLEX-RN review books to help me to prepare well. Maybe this is a good begining letting me have a taste of RN exams.
  11. Thank you for the answers. Now I am changing my study method to pay more attention to nursing instead of medical knowledge.I have to think in a nurse way. By the way, when I read the textbook, I only read the chapters but didn't pay attention to the detailed outlines. Perhaps this time, I need to follow what the outline gives ,especially the examples, right? Can I take the con1 recently or I have to wait 2 months?
  12. I just took NC 1 yesterday. It was a nightmare for me. Before taking the exam I thought I have prepared well, Reading through the textbook, taking practice exams. But when i really take the NC1 , I found so many questions are asking what the nurse should think , do or say and so on. By looking at the 4 answers, you will feel each one is reasonable. I was really confused by the questions because it is not like a scientific question which definitely have a certain answer and no doubt. I feel very sad and now questioning if EC suits me or not. I don't know if all the concepts are like this . I like questions asking for the real medical knowledge. Can anyone kindly provide me good suggestions for me ? How to prepare NC1? I found the real exam is harder than the practice one.
  13. Thank you for your words. How about NY? Where can I find out the each state 's policy?
  14. How much should one get in your practice exam at least to pass the real exam? I just did the con1-2 form A, only got 42% and 53%. I don't know if I analyze the questions again and read the keypoints again from the textbook, I can get improvment in form B. How simialr is it with the real exam? What's your results in the practice exam? Can anyone share your experience?
  15. I am sorry, but I don't understand this form listed above. For instance,If I took CPNE on June. 20th, then I will get a graduation date on 18 th, Aug?
