Is anyone considering or going through this program?(ISU LPN to BSN) I am looking to become a RN even though I just received my LPN license. I plan to ultimately become a NPractioner so this seems like the smartest and fastest route. Any advice would be great. I am a mom of three girls and will soon be working nights, so the traditional campus bridge to RN wouldn't really work for me, besides the fact that there are waiting lists at some schools and no guarantee I would get in. Any response would be great.

Thanks

I am about to start a similar program through Excelsior after hearing from co-workers (and my mother-in-law who is a nurse, too) that if I have the discipline to do it, this is a great way to get to my goal.

I am excited! Go for it!

I'm thinking about going through ISU to get my BSN too. I think from the sounds of it, it is better than getting it through Excelsior because, Excelsior is not acceppted in many (most) states. And if you go through the college-network for Indiana States program, you can test out of the prereqs that are needed to get into the program. They told me that it would take me about 6 months to a year to finish the prereqs and then another 2 years to get through the online program. GOOD LUCK

Oh yeah I forgot to mentions that I got my LPN through ISU (Idaho State University) how funny would that be to get my BSN through Indiana State (ISU also):chuckle

I am close to being done with my pre req's and going to apply in June!

Please be aware that this program is not recognized in all states as well:
