yay! congrats! if you have not enrolled yet, you are allow to take transitions as well then you can take the exams in any sequence after you enroll.

good luck.

Great!! Congrats!! :yeah::yeah:

I would take Transitions next. I have to wait and take both exams before enrolling. I just don't have the money yet for the huge enrollment fee. :uhoh21:

...i am enrolled with excelsior, but i was thinking about transitions?? can anyone share the order of nursing exams that worked for them please?:stdnrsrck:

yes you should take transitions next as it the only exam that you don't have to use your critical thinking skills as it is all memorization, e.g. history and stuff. it is a boring exam so get it out of the way now.

in addition, the nursing exams are set up that they are independent of each other meaning you don't have to take nursing 1 before nursing 2, then nursing 3. it is really your choice.

i had a plan of attack when i first started. i was in a now defunct promotion where you pay a yearly fee for the whole nursing exams and if you fail, you repeat it for free. so, what i wanted was to take the "hardest" exams first so that if i failed those, i will just move on to the next one and will repeat the failed exam at the end because you can only retake the failed exam after 90 days.

anyway, i took all the sample practice questions at the end of each study guides cold turkey, then which ever is the lowest scores i took first, then moved on to the second lowest, etc...

i did not follow this 100% as i switched some exams around but at least i had a plan. it is important to have a plan so you can monitor your progression.
