I could kick myself. I did not know that you could not sign up for information Literacy but every eight weeks! Well I went on line to sign up and they are not offering it till Jan5. Well The cut off to graduate for Feb 20 is JAn 2nd. I am so upset! Well now I have to wait till March to take the NCLEX. How long did you Guys Study for it? I guess I will start studying at the first of the year and as soon as they release my ATT, Sign up immediately. Thanks for Listening. :(:confused::o:cry::bluecry1:

Sorry to hear about your delay!

I didn't study for it and actually took it in one day.

It is something you read and then take quizes after each reading. Then at the end there is a final exam. I took it in one afternoon. Most of it is common sense so don't spend too much time fretting over it. If you are familiar with the library system and no your way around the internet it won't take you long to get through it.

Yikes! That sucks! I'm sorry to hear that but thanks again for passing on some useful information. I haven't taken that yet either (I was working on my FCCA instead) and planned on taking it as soon as I got back from my CPNE in early Jan.. I guess that makes me think twice. That class starts on the day of my CPNE.. fun times..

I'm so sorry u have to wait. Info lit is not hard. you will be fine. Maybe this is God's way of saying, "take alittle break". Rest, and enjoy in your recent victory. You are a wonderful example of hanging in and getting it done. Thanks for the vision you have given me.

When you pass the CPNE. The CA will give you your congratulations letter and there is a table stapled to it and tells you when you will graduate depending if you have met all the requirements.

NC Girl, have you asked EC if it's possible they can wrap you up for graduation as soon as you finish Info Lit? The course only takes a day or two, so maybe they'll recognize you as completing it when you've taken the final, vs. waiting until the end of the term. Might be worth a phone call! :)

I just got off the phone and my advisor told me if I finish Info Lit by the first week of Jan, they would release me for graduation Feb 20th! I am so excited! Things are looking up! That is why I love this board. So much great information!
