I know I still have a few tests to go, but I am trying to budget for my CPNE trip. I am living in Tennessee, but I would travel across the world if it would guarantee my passing

Does anyone know the pass rates per site or how to find them? I have heard that Atlanta is VERY difficult...but who knows! Also, I am wondering which sites are the fastest to get a date?

Thanks!!

Danish- you may want to ask EC about those stats.

FWIW, I tested at SRMC in Atlanta several years ago, and my experience correlated with other students' at other test sites.

It has more to do with the students' preparation than the site, as far as I can tell. I loved the Mansfield, Ohio site, which is where I tested.

The way I chose the site -- driving distance/time. I was closest to Mansfield. There were a couple of sites in NY that were almost as close, but Mansfield was 6 hours by road, and I wanted to drive, not fly! :)

I am leaning towards Ohio because I have family there and I may make a 2 week trip out of it. Thanks for the info. I will let everyone know if I can get any info re: passing rates from EC.

I saw an informal ranking of the test sites somewhere (can't remember where), with Racine, Atlanta, and Syracuse being the top three. I passed in Atlanta at Grady. The two adult PCS were both ortho, and the peds was sickle cell anemia. In fact, I was told by someone I knew in the area that all the hospitals in Atlanta had made each of the peds units focus on a specialty, in order to improve utilization, and the Grady handled the sickle cell cases. I have heard that SRMC doesn't do peds, but I know nothing about Gwinnet. I would imagine, however, that the CPNE would be about the same no matter where you go. This is because the test is as objective as it can possibly be.
