Help me with General Classes

i just finished information literacy. it is a one hour go at your own pace course . it is suppose to last a whole semester but i finished it in 3 hours. it is concerned with obtaining info off the web, library resources and plagiarism. you have 5 modules with a quiz at the end of each one. if you score a 70 then you can move on to the next module. after the fifth then you can take the final. it is either a pass or fail and you must score 70% on the final to pass. hope that helps...oh i would take general psych or sociology if you are looking for a easy course.

i got me unofficial summary from excelsior telling me what classes i need. i need 3 humanities, 2 social sciences, and information literacy besides my nursing courses.
can someone give me some insight on which class would be the easiest to take. it lists art, music, literature, theatre. i am horrible at all of these. which ones does excelsior offer?
which is a better class to take thru excelsior, life span dev physc or sociology?
going to a community college is not an option for me.
also what is the information literacy class. it is something you have to test out of? thanks soooo much from a clueless beginner!!

Information Literacy is a very easy class, really ... just pricey! But required, so we've all had to suck it up and just do it. LOL! It's all done through EC's website -- five learning modules with little quizzes, then an exam at the end (it's been almost 2 years since I've taken it, so I can't remember if it's 50 or 100 questions). It's pass/fail. Not a big deal, really.

There are a lot of CLEP tests that are great alternatives to taking EC exams -- for example, taking the Human Growth & Development CLEP instead of Lifespan, or the Introductory Sociology CLEP for the sociology credits. However, ALWAYS check with EC before taking a CLEP test for credit to make sure they accept it -- there are a few that they do not accept. I only know for sure about the two I've mentioned because I'm taking them. :)

I didn't need that many non-nursing courses (besides A&P and Micro, that is) because I already have two Associates degrees, so I can't really say too much about the other classes.

Thank you for the information. You two are always so helpful. I think I would do better taking the class thru Excelsior, even though it is going to cost more money.

Do you know what classes they offer for the Humanities credit I need. Anyone take one thru excelsior and can give me feedback? Thanks!
