Your right, easy is not a word I would use regarding humanities. I was just hoping that there might be someone like me with no knowlege of humanities could tell me the best route to go. Thanks so much for your advice!

I am trying to complete the 6 credits for Excelsior. I dont think I can CLEP this test as I know NOTHING about Humanities. Is the Ethics and World Religions classes at Excelsior easier than taking the CLEP?

I need 6 hours of Humanities. I am horrible with that subject, that is why I went into healthcare!!:nuke: Wondering what you would suggest to be the easiest way for me to get these credits taken care of. Going to a regular community college is really out of the question but I could possibly do online courses....Suggestions???

Ok so I have to take 3.00 hours of humanities, Life Span, and Sociology. I have already decided to CLEP Human Growth and Dev for Life Span. Can I CLEP Sociology? What about the Humanities credits? What did most of you guys do? Take it thru excelsior? Also if you did CLEP how did you prepare? What study materials did you use? Thanks so much and sorry for all the questions. I just feel so lost about all this!

Question, if my summary says I need 2.0 hours in Life Span 2.0 hours in Sociology Does that mean I need both classes? I am confused cause when you look those classes up they are worth 3.0 hours. Thanks.

I got my unofficial summary from Excelsior telling me what classes I need. I need 3 Humanities, 2 Social Sciences, and Information Literacy besides my nursing courses. Can someone give me some insight on which class would be the easiest to take. It lists art, music, literature, theatre. I am horrible at all of these. Which ones does Excelsior offer? Which is a better class to take thru Excelsior, Life Span Dev Physc or Sociology? Going to a community college is not an option for me. Also what is the Information Literacy class. It is something you have to test out of? Thanks soooo much from a clueless beginner!!

What is studygroup101? Where do you find it. I saw something on ebay that past graduates have put together, is that it or is that good? I really think I want to go this way as I did not buy a single book in RT school as I couldnt learn that way..Thanks!

I have tried bidding on College Network Study Guides and having no luck on EBAY. I keep getting out bid. I really think I need these study guides, as I am not a good book learner. Is there anywhere else that I can get them cheaper?? Thanks so much!

I believe you have to find a hospital and a RRT that is willing to be your clinical instructor. You have to have around 1000 hours of clinical time. You can do it on weekends or whatever works for you. Now dont quote me on this, as I am not exactly sure this is how it works. Call California College and I am sure they can explain it to you better. n8 dawg-Did you get thru all the nursing courses in 3 months? What pre reqs did you have to have? Glad to know an RT is doing so well with the program!

Thank you girls for the encouragment! There is an online college called California College that offers and Associates and Bachelors Degree in Respiratory Therapy. I dont know much about the program but know that it is offered as a distance learning option like Excelsior except the clinical part is different.
