Graceland

Nursing Students Online Learning

Published

Does anyone know anything about Graceland? I am starting to look into where I want to earn my MSN/FNP after I finish my BSN next year and see that they offer a distance degree. Anyone with any experience with this school?

TIA,

Ann

I graduated with BSN/MSN FNP in 2003. It worked really well for me. Almost all of the MSN teachers have their doctorate or are working on it. They are helpful and I think it is set up better now than when I started. They have many classes online now and the trips to the school have been pared down to a few times. I would recommend it to anyone.

Good program. I"m currently in the FNP program. It's $$$ but easy admision, up front with you form day one. No suprises.

I"m happy so far. the NP part is pretty programed.

Actually the nursing campus is in Independece MO

Thank you all for your responses. Craig B I have some questions for you since you are in the program I am interested in. Do they have open enrollment or do they run on actual semesters? I think I saw on their site that it was $400/credit for graduate- that is what Univ. of Phoenix is for undergrad. $400 is a lot of money but less than many schools. Are you going full time, and how long will it take you to complete? How many times are you required to actually go to the campus? I have requested information be sent to me, but I kind of like to hear these things from someone who is actually in the program.

thanks,

Ann
