Best/Worst Online Schools? Opinions PLEASE!!

Nursing Students Online Learning

So I'm starting to seriously consider moving my ADN degree to a BSN. Online is the best option for me and my oh my, the choices seem limitless! I have a couple of friends doing Phoenix, but I've also heard to avoid those blatantly "for profit" schools.

Please, offer up any opinions you have of any online school out there--this will be a financial (and more!) commitment of almost epic proportions here, so I want to choose carefully!!!

To rniam143,How long is the American Sentinel program, how is the work and do they accept a lot of transfer credits as the Big 3?

I recommend . It is a different study structure, but it is CCNE accredited. I was able to complete RN-BSN way fast.

I'm going to be starting Western Governors in a few months, the RN to BSN. It's all online, accredited, and price reasonable.

How quick did you complete it? It is like 4K per term right?

WGU does not award a grade. Only pass/fail. Be careful if you plan to attend a graduate program.

WGU has a competency based model and does award grades in the traditional sense. Once you prove you're a competent in a course you move on. You do receive grades everyone gets a B or a 3.0. This could be an issue if you want to move to a competitive graduate program.

Check out & if you want to get your masters you can get it through WGU too & University of phoenix has masters programs also that take WGU credits.

Yeah, not too good for a CRNA program. Otherwise it would be great. I would not say they are a bad school at all. The 3.0 in all my classes would bring my grade point average down significantly. That is if I were able to get "A's". A person would just need to look at their goals.
