    Anyone know how to go about petitioning to seal and destroy my arrest record in California (Santa Clara County), or how to petition for factual innocence?

    I have an arrest without conviction from 17 years ago, and my nursing school said I may not be able to do the clinicals.

    I am thinking you will need a lawyer, I understand Cali has become really difficult on this subject recently.

    I am too fighting California due to a 16 year old shoplifting case. I have a lawyer now. I am licensed in Georgia but tried recently for a different state and they denied me due Cali criminal record. let me know outcome
