Swedish RN Residency for January and Fabruary 2015 cohorts

Nurses Job Hunt

Published

Hi there! I just submitted my applications for Seattle Swedish Jan and Fed 2015 cohorts. Anyone else applied for those positions? Getting excited?

Has anyone applied for previous cohorts? Please share your experiences and give some advises. Would love to hear from you guys!

Thank you!

lovedogs31,

Did you use [email protected] to follow up on your application?

I've had some luck with the email. Sometimes a real person will respond, but other times I keep getting the same automated email response with information about the program.

Do you guys know what the general timeline is hiring wise?

Hi, yes I did use that email!

I just got a response back from the RN Residency Email and they said they would be conducting peer/manager interviews in early-mid October. Anyone else heard back about an interview. I still haven't heard anything and my job pages only says that my application has "been received".

Hi, flyawaynat

Sorry for a late response! I got a call on Mon, Sept 15 and they scheduled me for an in-person interview with HR next day. My application status has not changed from "application received" either, so I was a bit surprised to get this call, I was even more surprised to get invitation to in-person because they usually do HR interviews over the phone.

I got another call about my other application earlier today, so you can expect a call sometime soon! Good luck :)

That's great Uptotheskies! How did the interview go? Was it one on one or in a group setting? Were you interviewed by the managers or HR? Thanks!

flyawaynat,

The interview went well. Very brief and straight to the point, it only took about 20 minutes. I met with only 1 person from HR personnel. No behavioral questions (they will follow in panel interview, which is the next step; those should begin in early or mid-October).

Still haven't heard anything :( This is so nerve wracking! Anyone else besides uptotheskies hear back?

I also applied for their OB/Women's Health/Family Birth Center, as well as for their NICU residencies. So far I haven't heard anything back. My application status states: "Application received."

The website lags a bit, and application status often stays unchanged. Positions are open, so perhaps, they are still reviewing applications and are conducting some HR interviews. I hope you guys will get a call from them soon!
