My cardiac step-down floor is about to drive me insane. Can't stand it here anymore! And this is a magnet hospital!

Need to find a place with less acuity, less uptight, less concerned with customer service and neurotic attention to detail.

I've looked at HH and hospice, didn't get any good offers but willing to look again, but I can't wait very long.

Kind of liked rehab, where I worked as a CNA. Been thinking about med-surg too. Or a specialty position like dialysis, x-ray, or cath lab.

Anything I'm missing? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The customer service aspect will be there wherever you go. But how about same day surgery/outpatient surgery? I see ads for this from time to time, and they want experienced RNs with ACLS. Oftentimes regular daytime hours and no holidays. Patients are ambulatory.I've never done it myself, but it has crossed my mind (my ACLS has long since lapsed). Good luck!
