California and Indiana both participate in NURSYS (well, California does for RN licensure). Reciprocity is much easier to obtain this way, so check out this link: https://www.nursys.com/NLV/TermsConditionsNLV.aspx. Good luck with your move!

Just go to the California Board of Registered Nursing website. It explains all...Board of Registered Nursing - Licensure by Endorsement

Here in the great state of CA, we technically no longer have a BRN...go, California government :/ It is now known as the Registered Nursing Program. They're still licensing and endorsing people though.

Since it takes a long time--several weeks to a few months--to get endorsed even when we had a BRN, start the endorsement process early. You can file the application online and NURSYS is a help. You will have to send them transcripts from nursing school--have your school send them directly there. Also, you will need to send them a set of fingerprints--you can request a fingerprint card from them. Check with your local government offices to see where you can get fingerprinted.
