frustrated RN here..need help!!

i am a BSN and RN in the Philippines and i just recently passed the nclex last april..while waiting for my license in the mail, i started applying for jobs here in NC. I worked in the Philippines for more than 2 years but apparently recruiters do not want to consider that. i have been interviewed 3x but dont get any offer mostly because they told me they prefer US BSN grads..i do not know what to do...i really feel so helpless
