need some advice where to head to...
Hi raven..i am a bsn rn in the philippines too. What helped me are these: 1. Hurst review: i did their online study which includes videos focused on core content. It really helped me alot coz it summed up mostly all we have to learn in nursing and also can be applied to practice 2. La Charity PDA book: focus on priority, delegation, assessment 3. Nurse cram: i answered all the questions ---do Q&A's always ---install apps on your phone so that you can review anywhere

male nurse problems..
If you are a nurse, you would definitely do those. I was 7 months preggo and still turning and lifting patients, was not scared because i do not have to lift them by myself. Being a nurse in the ed, those poop issues are so common together with blood, vomitus, phlegm, all colors of body fluids. I have worked with alot of male nurses on the ed and i would say they clean poop, change diapers and everything.

Foreign BSN Undergraduate Seeking A Career In Advanced Practice Nursing
Hi guys! I am a bsn grad in the Philippines 2008 and an Rn there as well. I just got here in the us 2012, and i am currently an active RN working here in NC on ER's clinical decision unit for a year now. I am planning to go back to school but apparently i am not familiar with or how school applications here work. I am thinking of going FNP, rn-msn track. But also thinking of taking crna but i have no med-surg experience. I am looking into one of the universities here that does not require GRE and wants credentials to be evaluated for all international students. Any inputs or more info regarding application process? And what if i did finish my msn, am i considered as an NP if i passed certification exams?

How does a license in a compact state works?
I am an RN here in NC and about to move to Virginia. NC and VA both belong to compact state licensure, i just want to know if I can work in Va or any state within the compact state even without applying license by endorsement. I am an RN in the Philippines too and i had my credentials evaluated by IERF. Is there anyone here who knows if they accept IERF evaluation rather than CGFNS?

RECIPROCITY to California - RN Graduate from the PHILIPPINES
I applied to california by endorsement last nov 2014 and was just received a mail from them asking me of these additional requirements: 1. Cooy of clinical rotation schedule 2. OR and DR cases 3. Academic calendar I am a graduate since 2008 and my school said they do not have those requirements and the licensing agency dispose records every 2 years. I practice here in NC as an ED RN but have to go to cali for my husband's promotion. What is a good option? Help!
