Hey y'all! I was wondering if anyone else was applying to jobs in the Dallas area for February 2018 start date? What places are y'all applying and have y'all heard back from any of them?

I did a video recording interview for Childrens medical center dallas last week but havent heard anything about an in person interview yet!

Got in person interviews set up for Medical City Dallas and Denton for ICU residencies! If you're interested in any of the Medical City residencies, let the recruiter know when she contacts you and she can set up interviews for other hospitals. My initial invitation was for Denton, but she was then able to set up an interview for the Dallas location as well.

Has anyone else heard from Dallas Children's yet? I wasn't sure if they have started calling people yet.

I heard from Medical City Children's Hospital in Dallas last week and have a phone interview next week, and I also heard from Children's Medical Center Dallas (Children's Hospital system) on 09/15. I have completed a video interview with Children's Medical Center Dallas and waiting to hear from managers of the departments if they are interested.

THR is open today, unfortunately the only NICU they have open is Fort Worth.

Was just contacted today via email to interview for the acute medical track at UTSW. I was hoping for critical care, but would love to work there on a med surg unit as well. Now I'm excited/nervous! Has anyone else heard from them?

I heard that Children's medical center in Dallas has already contacted everyone. if you check your status and it says "inactive" that means you weren't chosen, but they keep your application open and on file in case they need it later on!

did someone from childrens say they were done contacting people? do you mean contacting for video interview or for in person interviews?

I called Children's and they said you had to have completed a phone or video interview to get an in person interview. they finished those already, and she said she thought they finished calling everyone for in person interviews but they could still call and schedule until Friday. The interview days would be the 13th or the 16th I believe. This is just what I was told when I called!

I was contacted by UTSW yesterday and received my confirmation for interview this morning. My interview is also for acute medical track.
