Hello allhappy.gif

I have somehow managed to snag an interview for a teaching position for LPNs

at a local community college. In my state of NH, you have to have 3 years of

nursing experience in order to teach LPNs, but I only have one. I made this

clear in my message to the director but I also stated that I'm in the process of

getting my MSN. I'm not getting my hopes up that she will offer me a

full-fledged teaching role, but even if I could help out in labs or substitute

in clincals, I would be thrilled!

My question for you all is, how do interviews for these positions usually go?

Since this would be my first official teaching role, I don't have much

experience to include on my resume. I have numerous peer tutoring experiences in

nursing school, but nothing since becoming an RN (I am registered to be a NHNA

mentor, but it hasn't taken off yet). What questions do you think I can

expect?

Thanks for any advice!
