From what I've read in different blogs and forums, I would say yes. I haven't tried passing at the guard though.

hi again omgellieh! right now i passed my credentials again at st. lukes and do what have you been said to pass it in HR. first, i go again at the back of st lukes and try to please the lady guard to make me enter, i do some alibi but unfortunately she insisted to leave my credentials to her but i never done that. grrr... that's why, i enter at the entrance and wander around and ask some personnel how to get into the HR. Its funny how I lose that lady guard in a mind game. LOL!

Is it true that after PGNT, for you to get in, your height must be a minimum of 5 feet 2 inches (For females. I am not aware re the guys) ? I've read a post that a blogger didn't qualify because of her height? Isn't this a bit discriminatory?

    Hi
I read in another forum that SLMC-GC is strict when it comes to height and BMI. Is it true? Is the 5ft2in rule both for female and male? I'm only 5ft1/2in but I really want to try applying in this institution.

Hello Nurses! I just want to clarify that leaving your application to the guard at the employee's entrance or submitting it directly to the HR office does not really make any difference at all. One way is not really faster than the other. It's totally the same thing bcoz before the day ends, the guard will forward all applications to the HR office. Regarding the height requirement (of 5'2"), I don't think this is really true, based from my experience. Since PGNT started up to the current batch, I've not heard such specific requirement. Though the BMI is yet another case. During the medical exam prior to ISF & NSET, they really check your BMI and as much as possible they encourage everyone to stay within a normal BMI. For those who would not meet the BMI requirement, SLMC would give time for them to somehow shed some weight first. I know this may sound harsh but I guess SLMC just wants to hire people at their optimum health as much as possible. Anyway, goodluck to all applicants! God Bless.

I heard about this too. I read a blog where in the blogger finished PGNT but was not "absorbed" due to her height.
