  1. Hello Nurses! I just want to clarify that leaving your application to the guard at the employee's entrance or submitting it directly to the HR office does not really make any difference at all. One way is not really faster than the other. It's totally the same thing bcoz before the day ends, the guard will forward all applications to the HR office. Regarding the height requirement (of 5'2"), I don't think this is really true, based from my experience. Since PGNT started up to the current batch, I've not heard such specific requirement. Though the BMI is yet another case. During the medical exam prior to ISF & NSET, they really check your BMI and as much as possible they encourage everyone to stay within a normal BMI. For those who would not meet the BMI requirement, SLMC would give time for them to somehow shed some weight first. I know this may sound harsh but I guess SLMC just wants to hire people at their optimum health as much as possible. Anyway, goodluck to all applicants! God Bless.
  2. Prior to NSET and ISF.
  3. I really am not sure of the exact number but about 50-60 from our batch were hired out of our starting census of 90+.
  4. Yes, we officially got hired last month. Thanks and good luck! :)
  5. I don't have any updates yet. As of now batch 5 is on their OJT (phase 3) while batch 6 is on their phase 1 of the PGNT program. The moment that I hear any news regarding batch 7 I'll update you guys immediately. I'm from batch 4 by the way. I understand your frustration as I have been in those shoes not so long ago but patience really is a virtue. Good luck!
  6. Hi, I haven't heard any news yet regarding PGNT Batch 7 but I think you should still try re-applying. In case I get some updates regarding succeeding PGNT openings I'd be more than glad to update you guys. Good Luck!
  7. You're welcome. I'm part of Batch 4. Good luck with your application!
  8. My advise is you should still try submitting your application, because as what the others have said here, they accept applicants with below 80% board rating. By the way, you'd need to go under the PGNT program first before you can undergo NSET. And from what I've heard from HR, Batch 6 is almost full and they will be starting this February. So if I were you, go and apply ASAP! Good luck & God bless colleague!
  9. Hi kayern07, thanks! Hopefully we'll be joining you again on the floors by mid-January.. Wish us luck in our NSET! :)
  10. Haha.. My bad.. I'm really not sure where I got what I just said.. Thanks for the correction dodoy.. Nursing Staff Effectiveness Training it is.. We'll be having ours soon! :)
  11. NSET I believe is "Nursing Skills Enhancement Training", I'm not sure though if "no one" fails in NSET anymore, coz I believe there are still exams during this phase and as always they will still be observing our behavior and attitude all throughout.. Wow, so you're part of Batch 6, congrats! Make sure to do your best during your PGNT! God bless & good luck colleague! Welcome to St. Luke's Medical Center! :)
  12. If you can, go directly to Manpower & Staffing Office Basement 1 to personally sumbit your application to an HR personnel.. Batch 5 has already started with their training so you'd most probably be included in Batch 6 if ever.. Good Luck & God Bless!
  13. Hi, I mentioned 6 months because it was 6 months ago when I started browsing this site and weeks after that I decided to submit my resume and so on.. The PGNT program perse runs for 3 months only.. ISF is "Introduction to St. Luke's Family" which is I believe a seminar/training conducted by HR to newly hired staff.. After ISF we'll be having the NSET then after that we'll be deployed to our specific areas of assignment already.. If you have any more questions don't ever hesitate to ask coz we'll be here to help as much as we could :)
  14. ISF starts tomorrow, let's go PGNT Batch 4! Thank you Lord for all the blessings. Good luck to all succeeding PGNT applicants/trainees. I remember 6 months ago I was just browsing through this website and asking questions like what you guys are doing now, and now that I'm almost part of the SLMC-GC family after passing Phase 3, I feel so blessed and happy. Thanks a lot to this website and to all our colleagues who are always checking on this site to help others and answer queries. Happy Holdiays & God Bless everyone! :)
  15. Hi, your schedule for Phase 3 will depend on the schedule of your preceptor, whatever your preceptor's schedule would be, that's what you'll follow. Meaning, it could be any of the three shifts (AM, PM, NIGHT), weekdays or weekends and even holidays. Sometimes you may also be on 12-hour shifts but of course that would mean lesser work days as the maximum is only 40 hours of training per week, do the math. Good luck & God bless colleague. :)
