hi everyone! i'm currently on a dilemma on choosing what hospital to work with..or do i have to consider having training first at Philippine Heart Center, Lung Center of the Philippines and the likes. I passed applications in Capitol Medical Center, Cardinal Santos Medical Center and Manila East Medical Center in Taytay Rizal. I'm presently living in Pasig. Any comments or suggestions will be of great help. Thanks guys.

That's good you were finally able to find a hospital of choice. I think I'll also consider that hospital. Do you know the basic salary? I'm from the visayas and I'm looking for a good salary that can pay my board and lodging.

hi there khirbz. .yeah..i'm happy to find a hospital that was still on an immediate hiring..i'm sorry i don't have any idea of their basic salary though etc..i coudn't help you with that.. =)

hmmm.. i work at ust the training is also good.they also provide d staff different seminars to attend to. and the pay is also good. ust is the highest paying hospital here in the metro.

woah! really? nice to know! can you share some infos regarding new RN applicants for USTH? just in case they're continously hiring. Thanks for sharing it here. It will be of big help.

thanks for all the suggestions! anyway, i went to De los Santos Med. Ctr. yesterday because i read from a broadsheet that they are currently hiring. So i just completed my requirements and i'll be waiting for further instructions. I hope i'll be in.

Just read your post..That broadsheet slipped through me. anyways thanks for sharing this. I'll check on it. By the way, did they mention any age cap coz I'm forty already:nono: . Just wanna be sure coz it happned to me not once already:uhoh3: .. So hard to maximize time. Am waiting for NCLEX ATT and aware that most sponsors seek experience. Volunteer or paid trngs are welcome.

Nurses have no boundaries. ;)

Im aware that Saudi Arabia are hiring Filipino Nurses with or without experience minimum 700 USD salary offer. Some have yearly contract and some have 2 years contract with free airfare ticket yearly.

If you need few months of experience try Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Qatar or Bahrain. They also have 12 months contract.

try st. luke's medical center... the hospital is good and accredited twice by joint commission international...

do you really consider PHC as your top choice? Why? maybe you should start finding another one.

that's right. it seems like almost every single graduate looks forward to working/training at PHC that it's becoming so overrated. there are many other decent hospitals out there that dont make you wait that long. i think in the PDA handbook there's a list of hospitals in MM. my friend has one and that's what we used to see which hospitals are near our area.

hello guys.

im one of those new Nurses that passed Dec2006, and due to some unfortunate events, i was not able to apply as early as possible.

ill try my luck tomorrow applying for an entry level position.

my destination still i dunno :( i have no update on what hospitals hiring new nurses so i guess i have to walk-in.

but ill start with the hospitals near our area. (from laloma, QC)

i read above that delos santos med ctr are hiring but that was a week ago. anyway, thanks to you guys for the Hospitals you have mentioned.

is working in ancillary department instead of the usual ward in a hospital can also be considered as a hospital experience? thanxs!
